Senior System Engineer– Hybrid –Washington, DC

Background

• Our client has an ongoing need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the Board. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior system engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations and support.

Role and Responsibilities

• Note:This position requires a mixture of onsite and remote work. The Contractor will be onsite for one (1) day per week.

Minimum Qualification

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software.
• Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations
• Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations, VLAN, VMC, primary, secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations
• Experience with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations
• Experience with Powershell/Powercli scripting
