Job Summary:
Position is responsible for a full range of tax responsibilities including compliance, planning, provision, transfer pricing, FIN48, and audit support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for further development of existing tax skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Ensures timely and accurate filing of US federal and state corporate income tax returns.
- Assists with management of tax audits.
- Maintains current knowledge of tax laws affecting the company.
- Evaluate implications of new tax legislation and recommend necessary changes to current company policies and procedures.
- Assists with tax planning and research on special projects.
- Recommends ways to minimize corporate taxes through legal and ethical use of tax laws and regulations.
- Maintains ability to create and assist with tax modeling and long-term tax planning.
- Understand and adhere to all ACI corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:
- Master's degree and/or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or specialization in tax.
- 5+ years related experience.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects, while maintaining quality work.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP tax accounting principles and U.S. tax system
- Ability to work as an individual contributor while leading group projects.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience desired:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced skills in Excel
- Alteryx experience, or similar data analytics and visualization platforms
- Experience with (US) multinational organizations
- Tax compliance and provision software experience.
- CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
Work Environment:
- Standard work environment in office setting.
- Majority of time spent on PC.
