Job Description:
Client s Hybrid Test Development Team in Tempe, Arizona, is looking for a Hybrid Test Development Sr Test Engineer to develop precision parametric measurement, dynamic signal analysis, and automated test system software for PCB level integrated system level testing.
Day in the Life:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Education Required: Years Experience Required: Requires a University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. (Nice to have Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering/computer engineering)
Will the contractor be working 40 hours a week? If not, weekly estimate? 40 Hours
Does this position require the candidate to be onsite or remote, if hybrid what does the onsite vs remote schedule look like? Onsite
What is your timeline for scheduling interviews? Less than a week.
What product line will this person support? Affera and CRM
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Specialist Career Stream: Typically, an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).
Differentiating Factors Autonomy: Seasoned individual contributor. Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions. Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level specialists; may manage projects / processes.
