Sells bank products and services to individualsfocusing on trust and investment managementproducts.2
Utilizes business and personal contacts as wellas area files to identify prospective clients
Developsa perspective on individual client situations to useas a vehicle for selling products.3
Assumes responsibility for complex and sensitiveclient and account activities as assigned by manager.4
Researches prospects'' financial picture andpossible needs to determine how to best provideservice.5
Develops rapport with prospects and arrangesmeetings to continue the sales process
Presentsbank product materials to prospective client ordesignated liaison (e.g
attorney, CPA, etc.).6
Responds to questions, consulting bank partnersfor additional product/service information whennecessary
Conducts additional prospect analysisto further determine services.7
Consults with clients and their attorneys onthe benefits of estate planning products/services.Analyzes property/assets, and developsalternatives (e.g
creation of living or insurancetrusts).8
Consults with clients, their attorneys, and otherfinancial advisors to determine the appropriateplan for estate taxes
Utilizes knowledge ofinheritance gift, income, and estate taxes tosell services to clients.9
Summarizes account assets to determineeligibility, qualifications, and tax classification.10
Maintains current in-depth knowledge ofa full range of trust-oriented services (e.g
personaltrusts, living trusts, wills, investment management,security custody, financial consulting, estate,and tax planning).11
Develops and maintains an understanding ofall applicable federal, state, and local laws andregulations pertaining to fiduciary services andestate and tax planning to ensure the complianceof financial planning activities.12
Initiates and follows through on any requestfor loan, checking, or savings account servicesby contacting banking and operations areasas appropriate.13
Maintains periodic contact with client and actsas a liaison between the client and the rest of thebank for various activities (e.g
setting up accounts,facilitating transactions).14
Cross-sells relationship improvementopportunities to existing clients by providingpertinent client update information to partnerswithin appropriate areas of the bank.15
Sets personal sales goals with manager basedon sales history and product knowledge.16
Represents personal financial planning in variousbusiness councils and task forces, (e.g
personalfiduciary service, investment management, financialconsulting).17
Participates in related seminars/presentationsand product knowledge training for bank partners.Knowledge: Knowledge of fiduciary products and services(e.g
personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investmentmanagement, security custody, financial consulting,estate planning), including fee structures anddocumentation, acquired through work experienceis required to respond to the issues that arise duringsales calls
Knowledge of federal, state, and locallaws and regulations that apply to personal fiduciary,and estate and tax planning services acquiredthrough formal education and work experienceis required to consult with clients
Analytical andsales skills are required to relate individual customerasset situations to specific products
Interactive skillsare required to comprehend prospect needs andrespond with the appropriate solutions.Experience: 5-7 years of trust sales or trust relationshipmanagement.Salary Range:$180,000-200,000Salary range is an estimate of base pay.
