Sr. Workday Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Software Engineer will be joining the Global Technology HR Technology Agile team in a development role supporting the Workday application. The role will design, develop, modify, adapt and implement short- and long-term solutions in order to deliver on key business initiatives for the firm.
ROLE SUMMARY AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions within the Workday application.
• Shows a commitment to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development within the Workday application
• Designs and develops practical APIs and abstractions.
• Works collaboratively in an agile environment
• Debugs large components with limited assistance and assists other engineers with debugging
• Leads code reviews and actively participates in providing feedback on others' designs/code
• Contributes to the development of best practices within their group
• Takes control of complex or vague problems and steps through them in a rational way
• Flexible in his or her thinking; able to evolve a solution when additional information or ideas are presented
REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of experience with Workday integration tools - Studio and EIB
• Prior experience working with HR related data and building integration to/from HR and other corporate applications
• 3+ years of XML, XSLT, and xPath experience
• 3+ years of advanced report building in Workday (BIRT, matrix, composite)
• Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment, preferably Kanban.
PREFERRED
• Experience with Prism Data sources in Workday
• Experience with Workday Extend (Formerly Workday Cloud Platform)
