As the Sales Account Manager for AWS SSD, you will develop engagement strategies, own the SSD/NAND business to meet revenue targets, build strong customer relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, manage customer orders, and coordinate customer meetings!
**Role and Responsibilities:**
+ Be responsible for the SSD engagement strategy: through collaboration with BU counterparts, the FAE team, executives and others within the organization; develop an outstanding strategy to drive tighter partnership and share gains for our SSD portfolio
+ Lead the SSD/NAND business to achieve the company's revenue and volume targets
+ Develop strong customer relationships to establish broad and deep engagements.
+ Negotiate pricing and key terms of sale, facilitate customer forecast, lead customer PO placement and open order backlog, secure supply allocation required
+ Lead the SSD/NAND LTA negotiations
+ In close partnership FAEs and BU teams, develop and run new design activity to achieve strategic account goals and facilitate revenue pipeline
+ Drive strategic alignment between the customer and business unit
+ Communicate routinely and proactively with internal teams to ensure that Micron is on track to achieve defined objectives
+ Understand customer supply chain, critical end markets and channels
+ Ability to modify communication approach to all levels of the company (CEO on down)
+ Create transparency/visibility to performance and holds team members accountable for their performance
+ Proactively takes responsibility for follow up on meeting actions and holds team accountable
+ Coordinate customer meetings such as QBR, EBR, etc. and ensures that messaging is consistent with customer strategy
+ Analyzes business to identify areas of strong performance and those needing improvement
+ Establish actions to address areas for improvement and communicate to team and measure effectiveness
**Education and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Higher education preferred.
+ 6+ years industry experience in achieving/exceeding sales goals
+ Extensive experience in sales in the Storage (NAND/SSD) marketplace, with a strong understanding of ecosystem dependencies and sales processes
+ Strong product knowledge in applications, use cases and workloads for customer platforms
+ Ability to develop sales strategies, taking into consideration customer and company perspectives
+ Excellent negotiation and closing skills
+ Understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players; technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win in the marketplace
+ The ability to apply broad knowledge to solve problems, drive for results and meet deadlines
+ Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills
+ Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Excel
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$186,000.00 - $326,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
