SST Technician I - Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions, LLC

The SST Technician I shall assist other SST Laboratory personnel in general lab duties.   The SST Technician I shall be responsible for ensuring quality and accurate data in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities and Duties

General:

• Work cooperatively.                                          
• Communicate effectively.                                
• Clean equipment and area.                               
• General laboratory maintenance.                                    
• Sample preparation.
• Sample planting and preparation for planting.
• Sample evaluation.
• TZ Test preparation.
• Data entry.

Specific:

• Responsible for knowing daily goals and meeting those goals for the day.
• Performs tasks as defined by professional staff.
• Communicate sample issues effectively to SST Associate Scientists and SST Lab Supervisors.
• Communicate personnel issues effectively to SST Manager Scientific.

Education/Experience:

• HS degree recommended.

Skills:

• Attention to detail, ability to maintain focus, mental addition and subtraction, computer operation including email and LIMS.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (8 – 4:30); Weekends and Early Morning/Late Evenings Available
