Thats Nice, But Whats the Job?

In short, as a Staff Accountant, you will perform key functions within the accounting segment and will have broad general exposure to accounting segments and functions. Working under the direction of Senior Accountants and will prepare various accounting functions, assist in special projects and significant accounting models.

In long, our Staff Accountants are responsible for:

• Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for items such as cash, fixed assets, payroll, prepaids, general accruals, etc.

• Completing month-end closing responsibilities.

• Researching accounting guidance and making recommendations where necessary.

• Assisting in preparation and communication of management reports.

• Supporting external and internal auditors with quarterly reviews and annual audits.

• Work on process improvement, documentation, and control implementation.

• Interact with customers by providing monthly reporting, answering inquiries, and helping with special projects.
