Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable
Our growing client has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant with strong accounts payables experience.
Responsibilities:
Our growing client has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant with strong accounts payables experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare journals entries with associated support.
- Prepare account reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of business licenses and personal property tax returns.
- Reconcile bank reconciliations.
- Perform basic accounts payable activities.
- Assist with fixed asset depreciation.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and applicable regulations.
- Provide ad hoc support to the accounting team as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with an ERP (JD Edwards, NetSuite, Oracle) preferred.
- Three or more years of accounting experience including processing accounts payable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
