Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will support the financial operations by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The role involves assisting with the month-end close, reconciling accounts, and working on special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end close.
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and tax filings.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Perform account analysis and generate reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
