Newly created Staff Accountant position with a construction company. (This is an onsite role in Avon, CT).

Staff Accountant job duties:

Journal entries, month end, bank reconciliation,
AP/AR, payroll, AIA billing, working with project managers, subcontractors, etc.
Work closely with the CFO on high level projects
Year end reconciliation and financial statement preparation

Preferred qualifications of this Staff Accountant role:

BS in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
Strong Excel skills, experience in Sage ERP system would be a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3-5 years experience ideally
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
