Staff Accountant - Consulting - Now CFO

NOW CFO is a consulting firm delivering accounting solutions to businesses since 2005. Consultants “roll-up their sleeves” to provide accounting expertise, tailored to the needs of each client. We work collaboratively to help businesses succeed.

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to become a PERMANENT, full-time member of our consulting team in Nashville, TN. (This is not a contract role.) Earn $70k-$90k plus benefits.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records and reports.
• Analyze budgets and reconcile accounts.
• Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns.
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger .
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee financial transactions as assigned.
• Prepare documents for audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of accounting information.
• Carry out relevant administrative duties (such as emails).

Qualifications:

• Accounting or Finance degree. (BS/BA/MBA)
• Experience working in accounting or related fields.
• Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting practices)
• Knowledge of financial laws and risk management practices.
• Software mastery, including Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Aptitude for mathematics and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, accurate, detailed.
