Job Details
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
- Perform job costing analysis and collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and costs.
- Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and job costing principles.
