Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Support tax filings and assist with tax compliance matters.
- Contribute to process improvements and system efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have public accounting backgrounds.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
- CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
- Public Accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience with tax preparation and audit processes.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
