About the Job
Seeking Staff Accountant on a temporary basis
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience
- Accounting degree
- Preparation of accurate month-end Journal entries
- New Vendor setups in the accounting system
- Computation, payments and filing of monthly, quarterly and annual sales and use tax returns
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations on assigned high transaction accounts with research and resolution of reconciling items
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements
- Assist in analyzing the financial statements for discrepancies and other issues and communicate any issues back to the Accounting Manager
- Enter rent and other accounting related invoices for payment through Chrome River
- Prepare, review for accuracy and post cost uploads in the accounting system
- Support month-end and year-end close process
