Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
