Our client is an industry leading company located here in the Dayton area. They are actively looking to hire a Staff Accountant. This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with the Accounting and Finance team. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication skills in addition to relevant accounting experience.
Core Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager in preparation of financial statements
• Responsible for all functions within general accounting, tax, accounts payable and receivable
• The Staff accountant will assist with processing vendor payables
• Help streamline the accounting department to increase efficiencies within the company
• The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end processes
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
• 5 years of proven accounting work
• Degree preferred – Accounting or Finance
• The Staff Accountant much have strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MaxSalary: USD75000
MinSalary: USD65000
