Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Employee is responsible for the continuing of the monthly general ledger entries, preparation.
• General ledger monthly closing
• Fixed assets oversight – easy process basically button clicking
• Credit card recs and journal entries
• Maybe some relay over into revenue recognition as needed
• Grant expense tracking
• Expense recognition
• Payroll – cash recognition not doing payroll
• Leases oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Accounting/Finance is preferred but not required)
• Prefers U.S. GAAP understanding
• Proficient in Excel ( Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, SUMIFS etc.…)
• NetSuite Experience is a plus

Salary is $55-60K
