Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will provide financial and administrative
support to the Accounting Team. Candidate must be eager to learn, a self-starter, adept at
communicating with multiple levels of an organization, and can garner trust, influence, and effectively
multitask.
Essential Job Functions and Basic Duties
• Process weekly expense reports and associated ACH.
• Assist with Accounts Payable vouchering.
• Assist with Accounts Payable check run.
• Prepare and process 1099 reporting.
• Assist with sales invoice submission to 3rd party payment portals.
• Research invoices over 60 days and assist with collection calls.
• Research payment remittances (checks and ACH).
• Reconcile and process corporate American Express credit card payment.
• Assist the Controller with month end close.
• Maintaining Accounts Payable files.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field is
required.
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of general financial accounting
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High degree of integrity and responsibility.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the Company.
- Must have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Schedule / Position Status:
- Monday to Friday
- Full Time – Regular
- Hourly – Non-Exempt
- Hybrid - 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
