InterDent is based out of Inglewood, CA with a second office in Vancouver, WA and backed by a publically traded equity sponsor. This position is Full-Time (at least 40 hours per week) at our Inglewood, CA office with an hourly pay of $25.00 - $28.00/DOE. Essential Responsibilities and Tasks - Prepare high volume monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepares general ledger journal entries through research and maintaining records and files
- Assist and support our Dental offices with inquires related to Treasury functions
- Audit of the locations daily deposits and end of the day reports in compliance with the Company’s cash policy
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and account analysis
- Assist with month-end and year-end close functions
- Assists in the performance of other accounting department functions as required to meet departmental objectives and time frames
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience
- Prior experience MS Dynamics (GP) is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and accounting information systems
- Strong skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, with a desire to advance proficiency
- Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks
- Exemplary analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership for the quality and timeliness of work and for managing competing deliverables
- Desire to drive improvement, both organizational and professional
