Staff Accountant at Hired by Matrix

Pay Rate: 13,000.00-145,000.00 $/Year

• Participate in the accounts receivable process, including customer registration, invoicing, collections, customer inquiries, and reconciliations.
• Participate in the accounts payable process, including supplier registration, payment term policies, invoice processing, payment planning and execution, supplier inquiries, and reconciliations.
• Continuously drive an improved cash conversion cycle; work to shrink DSO and increase DPO while maintaining excellent service to all stakeholders internally and externally.
• Lead month-end close process and analysis for AR and AP subledgers
• Ensure proper controls are in place for documentation, general ledger accuracy, and compliance with tax requirements
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Support in external and internal audits

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting functions with progressively expanding roles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks against competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Technologically savvy with extensive ERP system experience; Tier 1 Software experience including SAP is a plus.
