About the Role:
The Staff Accountant, Forensic Accounting will play a critical role within our forensic accounting practice by assisting in the quantification of insurance claims and economic damages and the preparation of various analyses, financial models, and reports for our clients.

The Staff Accountant, Forensic Accounting will play a critical role within our forensic accounting practice by assisting in the quantification of insurance claims and economic damages and the preparation of various analyses, financial models, and reports for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Gather key facts through interviews, interrogatories, research, and the analysis of various types of financial and nonfinancial data.
- Input data into Excel (financial statements, payroll, invoices, etc.).
- Perform quality review on workpapers and reports to identify and correct errors.
- Work closely with senior staff to assist in performing financial analyses, building models, and maintaining documents.
- Assist in preparing clear, concise reports which can be understood by non-accountants.
- Be flexible and responsive to client needs, being available for meetings at times and in places stipulated by the client. This can involve working long days and tight deadlines given that our clients are based internationally.
- Operate as an effective and contributing member of our team, in collaboration with other team members.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Willingness to obtain certification(s) to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in key related skills such as ABV, CPA, CFE, or similar.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Forensic accounting experience is beneficial but not required.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required for both client engagements and business development efforts.
- A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence.
- Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines.
- Skilled at building relationships with others.
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are beneficial but not required.
