Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• General Ledger Management: Assist in managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial data.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring all entries are documented properly.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, tracking actuals versus projections.
• Auditing and Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial procedures adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Expense Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyze expenses to ensure proper classification and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting.

Preferred qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related accounting field.
• Proficient in Excel software.
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
