Job Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team. This role primarily involves maintaining the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring that daily and monthly debits and credits are correctly recorded and reconciled in the relevant ledger. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to account reconciliations and various accounting tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Position:
Conducting account reconciliations, which involves reviewing and balancing general ledger accounts.
Undertaking a range of accounting duties, such as bank reconciliations, income audits, management of sales taxes, handling intercompany transactions, reconciling general ledgers across multiple entities, and addressing miscellaneous tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills for the Role:
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with specialized software, such as Restaurant 365.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Educational, Experiential, and Licensing Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in the field of accounting.
A minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.
Preferred experience in a related industry, although not mandatory.
Knowledge of property management accounting is a desirable asset.
