Staff Accountant - Creative Financial Staffing

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Staff Accountant will make journal entries (for both Association & Foundations)
• Staff Accountant will not do bank reconciliations but will record bank transactions (for both Association & Foundations)
• Staff Accountant will be point of contact for remote deposits from chapters and districts throughout the country
  • This will require client interaction/customer service.
  • Typically email follow up. Sometimes follow up calls
  • Volume of deposits ranges from 3-50/day.
• Staff Accountant will manage PayPal account. Staff Accountant will be only employee assigned to PayPal– will deal directly with the chapters. Staff Accountant will process weekly downloads of transactions. Typically, there are several hundred PayPal transactions

Requirements:

• Ideally 3+ years accounting experience
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Degree is a plus but not required
• Excel – should be familiar with VLOOKUP’s
