Staff Accountant - Immediate Hiring

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and interact with Suppliers and internal support personnel.
- Review, code, and enter AP invoices.
- Address and resolve any invoice item discrepancies
- Prepare weekly check runs for approval, and print checks once approved
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Respond to all vendor inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing; identify and submit monthly accruals
- Reconcile GL to AP sub-ledger
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Manage Accounts Receivable function at the HTS Branch
- Batch and export invoices & payments using bank deposit data.
- Apply payments to customer accounts
- Address and resolve any invoice item discrepancies
- Address any errors not allowing invoices and payments to export properly
- Review invoices to ensure all invoices are complete and all issues have been resolved to meet month-end deadlines
- Send invoices and account updates to customers as needed
- Reconcile GL to AR Subledger
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience are required.
- Related education and /or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
- Sage Intacct software experience is preferred.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and possess problem-solving skills.
