Staff Accountant - Murray Resources

An international manufacturing company in Humble is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their US team! The Staff Accountant will work directly with the Controller and team to prepare and maintain financial records.

Location: Humble, TX 77338
Salary: $65,000-$75,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports.
• Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Responsible for account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Calculate depreciation, balance sheet analysis, GL accounting, revenue recognition, and ensure accuracy of entries to ledger accounts.
• Handled month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
• Maintain financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA eligible preferred
• 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience within a manufacturing company required
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and MS Word
• Hands-on ERP experience required (IQMS preferred)
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a team environment
