Staff Accountant
$70,000/yr.-$75,000/yr.
Job Summary - Vaco is currently working with a Manufacturing company and they have an opening for a dynamic Staff Accountant who will be Reporting to the Corporate Controller. This person will be handling daily accounting and treasury (cash) functions while also completing budgeting and forecasting as well. The company is offering healthy benefits and compensation. There is also work from options as well.
Responsibilities:
- Cash forecasts
- General ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports related to treasury activities, including cash position, liquidity forecasts, and investment performance
- Cash management
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in treasury management or a similar role
- Proficient in accounting software
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience with manufacturing is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
