Staff Accountant II - Honey Baked Ham Company LLC

Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by providing financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, analytical skills, support and process improvements.



WHAT YOU'LL DO


* Responsible for timely and accurate completion of monthly analysis and reconciliations for meal broker accounts.
* Maintain and update the fixed asset subledger, ensuring all acquisitions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded and perform corresponding reconciliations
* Document and process accounting transactions in accordance with Company policies and procedures to support an accurate and timely month-end close process, including journal entry preparation.
* Work to review current processes and recommend/develop improvements to support the business.

YOUR TRACK RECORD:


* Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting; CPA or CPA-track a plus
* 1-2 years experience in an Accountant role
* Prior work experience with a company that is multi-location and preferably retail
* Intermediate Excel skills required

WHAT ELSE?
The role requires: Occasional overtime required throughout the year, especially at month end and peak seasons.

D365 accounting system and TM1 reporting software knowledge, a plus
