About the Job
One of San Diego's most successful and dynamic organizations located in Sorrento Valley is looking for a Staff Accountant. This is a newly created position due to company growth.
- $65K-$75K + Bonus & Excellent Benefits
- Hybrid (3 days working on-site & 2 days from home)
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly accrual based financial statement for multiple entities
- Month end close balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal entries including accruals and prepayments
- Variance analysis
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets
- Communicating with all levels of management
- Assisting external auditors
- Special projects
Staff Accountant Requirements:
- BS Accounting or equivalent
- 1-3 years of progressive General Ledger experience
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
- Systems savvy
