What You'll Do:
- General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Month-End Close: Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and on time.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Expense Tracking & Budgeting: Track company expenses, assist in budgeting processes, and provide variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with Audits: Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting in audit preparations.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: You have the educational foundation we're looking for.
- Strong Knowledge of GAAP: A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Excel & Accounting Software: You know your way around Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and you're comfortable with popular accounting software (like QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: You don't just look at the numbers; you dive deep into them to ensure everything adds up.
- 2+ Years of Accounting Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is a big plus!
- Team Player Attitude: You work well with others and communicate effectively to ensure the team's success.
