- Dive into day-to-day activities, managing payroll and accounts payable processes.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to enhance practices as we scale.
- Your contributions will be front and center: this is a highly visible role and a great opportunity to work directly with the leadership team.
What you'll do:
- Assist with the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Month and year-end closing activities
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- Payroll and expense reconciliation
- Check runs
What we are looking for:
- Proven working experience in accounting - minimum of one year of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience working efficiently in at least one accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related business field
