Our office is quickly growing and we need someone who we can train to fit in our puzzle! The position offered is full/ part time. Our Staff Accountant needs to exceed standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in.

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, overseeing entries to assure completeness and correctness.
- Accounts Payable: Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and settlement of accounts.
- Budget Management: Support the development and monitoring of budgets, assisting in financial planning and forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fiscal practices.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside other departments to provide financial insights and assist in strategic planning.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to improve financial procedures and reporting efficiencies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accurately interpret financial data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: High-level attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Confidentiality: A solid understanding of and adherence to confidentiality requirements.
