Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Assisting the Controller with month end close activities, journal entries and preparation of financial statements
• Staying on top of accounting practices & policies and recommending any process improvements or efficiencies needed
• Handling reconciliations and monitoring Accounts Receivable duties including aging
• Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Controller or Director of Finance

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Financial Services Experience is a plus
• Bachelors degree is a must
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
