Staff Accountant at Glatt, Maney, Kling & Rufer CPA S P.C.

Lower Manhattan CPA firm seeks a staff accountant with 3+ years of tax and accounting experience working for a CPA firm.  Candidates must have their degree in accounting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.  You should either have passed or working to complete all portions of the CPA Examination.

Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks or equivalent types of Accounting Software.  Experience and an understanding of Prosystem Tax is a plus.

Responsibilities will include the planning and preparation of various business (including bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, etc.)  individual and fiduciary income tax returns, preparation and analysis of fiduciary accountings, preparation of estate and gift tax returns as well as other general accounting duties.
