Responsibilities / Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience. (Degree not required)
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and other business-related software.
4. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Experience with reconciliations, entries, accruals, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
10. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
