Staff Accountant - First Pro

A company in the Center City area of Philadelphia is hiring for an experienced Staff Accountant! If interested, please see details below! This position will be 100% onsite on a temp to hire basis!
 

Responsibilities: 

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable/payable, and other financial transactions.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support as required.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze financial data and identify variances against budgets or forecasts, investigating discrepancies and proposing corrective actions as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
