Staff Accountant at Creative Financial Staffing

Newly created Staff Accountant position with a public accounting firm! (This is an onsite role in Plainville, CT)

Staff Accountant job duties:

• Prepare Individual, Partnership, and Corporate Tax Returns
• Handle a variety of tax forms; 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1099, etc.)
• Engage in multi state tax forms
• Year end reconciliation and financial statement preparation
• Maintain client relationships
• Develop or improve accounting/tax process and procedures

Preferred qualifications of this Staff Accountant role:

• 3+ years of experience in tax or public accounting
• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
