Staff Accountant - Forty2

The Role:

Our company's continued growth has resulted in the need for a Staff Accountant based out of our office in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Candidates must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the financial statements for a portfolio of multifamily assets
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including budget variance analysis
• Post monthly adjusting journal entries including accrual and reclass entries
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and related research
• Perform routine analysis to review and strategically improve property performance
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Ad Hoc Projects

Experience and Background:

• 0-2 years recent full-charge bookkeeping / accounting experience.
• BS in Accounting or Finance required
• Ability to analyze financial data & provide meaningful reports
• High proficiency in Excel
• Great computer and technology skills
• Experience in General Ledger, A/R, A/P and Bank Reconciliations preferred
• Experience in multifamily real estate accounting and reporting a PLUS
