We are working closely with a small family owned CPA firm here in the White Plains area that is looking to add a junior/staff accountant to their team. It is a small ,friendly office where you will have a broad range of accounting tasks. They will work with their outsourced business office clients of all industries. responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly and quarterly closes
• Assists with preparing budgets/forecasts
• Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accrued expenses
• One-on-one mentorship and learning opportunities with partners
• QuickBooks experience a plus!

 
qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel a must

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong time management skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
