Boutique real estate firm in the Redmond, WA area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will work closely with the Controller and management to manage full cycle accounting, general ledger, payroll, cash management, financial reporting, and accounts payable for multiple entities. Seeking those interested in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly financial close process.
• Handle payroll preparation and processing, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with cash projections and reconciliation processes.
• Oversee accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies in all financial transactions.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide support during audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Public accounting or CPA is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail, particularly with sensitive information.
