Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Seattle, Washington. This role is hybrid and requires one day onsite in the Seattle office.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general accounting tasks such as accounts payable, invoicing, and expense reports.
- Create complex balance sheet reconciliation schedules for accurate financial records.
- Calculate and post journal entries to ensure accuracy in accounting records.
- Handle accounts receivable activities, ensuring all payments are made on time and accurately.
- Assist with month end close, including balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
- Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
