Job Title: Staff Accountant

Petrolink Energy, LLC is a midstream gathering, processing and treating company with over 3,500 miles of pipeline in 22 counties largely in eastern Oklahoma. Petrolink Energy, LLC deals with a wide spectrum of contracts related to the energy industry for a variety of product types. The company is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant. Oil & Gas Accounting experience, though not required, will be a plus. This position will report to the Director, Financial Accounting.

The Staff Accountant will work closing with the accounting team, operations and management. The role will be responsible for accounts payable, account reconciliations, assisting with revenue reporting, and other tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly check and ACH reporting
• Customer/Vendor communications
• Support month-end close processes
• Prepare account analysis and reconciliations
• Support 1099 reporting and other regulatory requirements
• Assist with financial tasks including reporting and account programs
• Work closely with the accounting team to improve and streamline processes
• Perform other duties as required  

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field 

Specific Knowledge/Experience:  

• Accounting experience in the energy industry is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, (e.g., power bi helpful)
• A solid understanding of accounting processes, and GAAP
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work on multiple projects throughout the day simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with coworkers and clients
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and accuracy is a must
