About the Job
JOB TYPE: On-site
• Prepare journal entries, money moves, payments, billing, administrative system accounting reports and/or consolidated statements.
• Analyze and maintain the general ledger accounts and/or client insured records.
• Prepare and analyze various accounting reports including variances to forecast, budget and prior year; may coordinate revenue and expense accruals; ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close;
• Perform variation and trend analysis for key general ledger accounts or reports; apply funds to insured records; process refunds to insured records; request payments for carriers and third parties. Findings may be presented to senior management, partners, carriers or clients.
• Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX procedures, SSAE16 procedures, tax regulations, local GAAP and US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) regarding financial matters.
Requirements
What you need to have:
• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving mind-set
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Benefits
Hybrid or Onsite (Please provide # of days): The initial 4 to 8 weeks of training will be in the office. In office days will be reduced as your knowledge base increases. Once you have acquired a solid base knowledge you will switch to hybrid. Office days : every Tuesday and every other Monday.

Billing and Invoicing Knowledge: Familiarity with billing systems and invoicing processes specific to finance or accounting. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in entering data and reviewing financial documents to avoid errors. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze expenses, run reports, and identify discrepancies in financial records. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various levels of staff and provide customer service. Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles to support journal entry preparation and expense allocation.
