We believe that inclusion helps us thrive and grow at United across our collaborative Finance teams consisting of Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Global Procurement, Controllership, Investor Relations and more. These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
The Staff Auditor in this role will be assisting projects aligned with Internal Audit’s goals as it relates to Cybersecurity and Digital Technology risks. They will identify and assess risks, as well as effectiveness of internal controls. They perform business application and system development reviews to ensure proper controls are developed and maintained in the Company.
- Apply knowledge and skill of Internal Audit principles and practices by partnering with audit team to execute Audits across United.
- Apply analytical thought and risk-based decision making in work products
- Assist in planning and executing internal and external audits in accordance with established procedures.
- Document audit findings, prepare reports, and present observations and recommendations to senior auditors or management.
- Comprehend and discuss Cybersecurity and other technological concepts during engagements.
- Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with audit team members to ensure the timely completion of audit tasks and projects.
- Work with various departments to understand and evaluate internal controls, policies, and processes.
- Perform project management and quality control related tasks.
- Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Cybersecurity, Incident Response, Computer Science, Penetration Testing, Audit, Business Administration
- 2 years in cybersecurity and internal audit
- Report writing
- Risk analysis
- Drafting memos and communication to leadership
- Managing multiple tasks and projects
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Team player mentality

- Master's degree
- 1+ years teaching and developing a cyber course
- 1+ years working at an airline
