Requirements for Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (SDC/IP):

• Current Massachusetts nursing License
• Experience with electronic medical record, PCC preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid leadership abilities

Job Duties for Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (SDC/IP):

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Mentor RN/LPN Staff Nurses
• Monitor training for new orients
• Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
• Implement infection control updates
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

• Maintains staff licensure, certification, physicals and immunization for compliance

The successful Nurse Unit Manager/Staff Development Coordinator candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with our Assistant Director of Nursing and Staff Development Coordinator to foster patient-centered nursing care.
