Leading land development firm Poulos & Bennett is actively seeking a Staff Engineer for immediate employment in their Orlando, Florida office. Responsibilities:- Prepare engineering design calculations and construction plans to directly support residential, commercial, and roadway developments including site grading, stormwater, utility design, as well as prepare written drainage and utility reports
- Code, entitlements, and general due diligence research
- Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
- 2 or more years of Civil Engineering experience
- Experience with ICPR, WaterCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Understanding of stormwater, utility design and land development
- Understanding of permitting process, codes, and criteria
- Experience preparing construction plans and reports
- Experience in Florida preferred
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Highly organized
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be solution oriented
- Self-motivated
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
