Staff Geologist / Engineer - Professional Service Industries Inc

Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is looking for a Staff Geologist / Engineer to join our Building & Construction team in Waukesha, WI.

Intertek-PSI is a leading US based provider of assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting solutions in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. Through these risk management and quality assurance services, we ensure the reliability, safety and performance of our client's new developments, existing assets, and facilities.

What you'll do:

• Direct and execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration, and laboratory services
• Provide project level development of proposals and reports and ensure that client commitments are met
• Will work under close supervision of an experienced professional to perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
• Perform limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced professional
• Execute Field and Laboratory Sampling and Testing
• Oversight and Testing on Geotechnical project during Design and Construction
• Other projects as required

• B.S Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar field required*
  • or Associate's Degree plus 1 or more years' relevant experience
• Applicable experience is preferred, but not required
• E.I.T. or G.I.T. certification is preferred, but not required
• P.E. / P.G. License is preferred, but not required
• Capable of conducting and supervising field exploration activities
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)
