Staff Manager, Customer Service Support During Holiday Season - Starting 11/18 - Kinetic Events

Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of an onsite staff manager to assist with a seven-week program from Nov 18 - Jan 5th at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for evening work during the holiday season. We provide a fun, collaborative, and positive work environment. 

Job Description 

• The event is a seven-week outdoor light show at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. 
• We will have shifts available almost every evening starting Mon Nov 18 and can offer 20-40 hours per week until Sun 1/5. 
• Job duties include tracking attendance, issuing/recording all breaks, handling incidents/conflicts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and completing a daily event recap. Staff will be greeting attendees, providing directions/wayfinding, and assisting with parking. 
• This job will require you to manage 12-16 staff per shift. 
• Pay is $26/hour. 

Shift Times 

• Mandatory paid onsite training will be held on Monday 11/18 from 4pm-9pm. If you cannot attend the training, you cannot work on this program.
• In addition, a mandatory paid one-hour virtual training with Kinetic Events must be completed before the start of the program. 
• Shift times are 4:45 PM - 10:30 PM. 
• We are operating on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day and will prioritize those who are available to work on these dates. 

Ideal Candidates

• Must have 2-3 years experience in experiential marketing and/or events and a history of leadership/managerial roles. 
• Ideally, looking for someone who can work all/a majority of the dates of this program. 
• Must be comfortable working exclusively outdoors. There are no indoor positions available. 
• Must be comfortable standing on your feet for the duration of the shift and interacting with hundreds of people per shift. 
• Must be friendly, reliable, outgoing, and professional.
