Job Summary:
As a key member of our network validation engineering team, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of test plans and automation for networking products. You will facilitate the integration and maintenance of various functional and system test scripts. The ideal candidate will ensure the scalability, reliability, and validation of SONiC NOS software, ASIC, and platform features across hybrid cloud, server virtualization, and legacy network systems. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will enhance hardware and software reliability and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Feature testing
- Customers' issues support
- Providing and/or suggesting fix or solutions
- Providing plan of improvement
- Collaborate with teams from hardware, software, vendors and PMs on various aspects.
- Scalability, converging and redundancy testing experience
- Equipment procurements for lab test
- Documentation for SOP, WIP, analysis report
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent with 10+ years industry experience
- SONiC & linux expert
- Master of test strategy in networking
- Extensive background working with any of network protocols in switching, routing, and security features (TCP/IP, L2/L3, MC-LAG, VRRP, RoCE, Authentications, ACL, AAA, Radius, Tacacs)
- Experience in version control systems (e.g., git), CICD tools
- Automation in python (with Robot framework is a plus)
- Excellent in debugging, analyzing complicated and large network and systems topology
- Familiar with Supermicro's products is a plus
- CCIE, CCNP, CCNA or the equivalent is a plus
Salary Range
$161,000 - $180,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
